At Sea

Last night it was a bit rough and I noticed lightning and rain also which I think were a result of the tropical depression / tropical storm / hurricane / and finally tropical storm (again) Danielle.  It was very rolly all day long.  I was reading but gave up once I started getting a headache and just sat on the balcony for a while.

I only attended one lecture today by Steven Revellino on the life of Edith Piaf.  (Michael always calls her Rice Pilaf which means I have to really think to get her name right.)  It was a very organized and interesting lecture.  Other than that we didn't do much.

When we pulled out one of our suitcases from under the bed to get a headstart on packing some things we are no longer using, we noticed a dent in the corner of one, probably the result of a vacuum cleaner.  The Executive Concierge gave it to the luggage repair people and it came back today all fixed - even the crack was sealed with color-matching material.  Nice.

Trivia was a new high for us of 12/15.  However, it was still only good for one point for 3rd place.  We were proud that we came up with the three James Bond movies with "gold" in the title since we don't usually do well with James Bond.  And we lucked out with the only cat that cannot retract its claws - the cheetah.

We decided to order room service and watch a movie tonight - Monuments Men - which we've seen but was just as good the second time.

Tomorrow everyone has to be tested for Covid which is required for our arrival in Bermuda on Tuesday.  We are all curious to see what will happen if (when) there are positive cases.  Will Bermuda only bar those people or the whole ship?  Will those people have to isolate for 5 days which brings us to disembarkation day in New York?  So many questions but time will tell.
