At Sea

We lost another hour last night so we got a slightly later start.  After breakfast, I went to the lecture by Sir David Durie called "The Spanish Armada - Spanish Pride, English (P)Luck".  His delivery is a bit dry, but I still learned a lot.  Our balcony door has stopped opening altogether after a while of difficulty so we called that in.  Lunch was a French Buffet on the Pool Deck which was a bit cold.  Lunch was delicious, but we didn't linger.  Instead, we returned to the cabin and read and puttered around for the afternoon until Trivia.  Bombed again.  We really seem to be stuck at 8 or 9 points which is not usually enough to get into the top three. We think we need to study up on dart boards and James Bond movies because, more often than not, there is a question about one of those.  And I'm determined in future that any song that sounds vaguely childlike and came from a musical is from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

This photo isn't from today because I can't upload photos through the ship's WiFi.  So it is a picture of the White Cliffs of Dover from two days ago, albeit mostly hidden by the brown haze of the day.  Today was a cloudy and slightly windy day which meant a bit of a roll, but again, hardly even noticeable to us by now.  Some of the newer passengers are noticing.

We had dinner at Sette Mari.  The food was good, but the restaurant was packed and very loud.  We stayed at the show, a musical comedian named Steve Stevens, but it also was very loud and not interesting enough to stay.
