We lost another hour of sleep last night, but that should be the last time on this cruise, and from here on out we should be gaining time when we turn west.
Had breakfast in Compass Rose so we could get the good avocado toast and I get the chia almond yogurt with fresh berries. Then a bit in Coffee Connection before I headed off to the lecture on The Glories of Al-Andulus (Moorish Spain). I certainly hadn't realized how much the Muslim Moors contributed to the world back in the 8th through 15th centuries. Then, in a nutshell, the radicals got hold of things and it all went to pieces. A story old as time, I guess.
We ran into fog for a while again just outside of the entrance to the Med which the Captain said is typical. That fog horn was going and the bridge camera showed only gray. But just in time to see the Rock of Gibraltar, the fog cleared. I got a couple of pictures, but they'll have to wait until tomorrow. The picture above, while not taken today, shows how the day started.
As I mentioned yesterday, Tram No. 28 is a special one in Lisbon. The Daily Challenge of the day yesterday was to get a selfie with any tram for one point, or with No. 28 for 2 points. We were able to get the 2 pointer (you have to enlarge the photo, but it IS No. 28) and showed it to Andrew this morning as required.

However, as we were waiting for our tour to leave, we thought we'd get a backup photo just in case. This wasn't our tour, but it IS a bus 28.

| Our backup photo. Cruise Director Paul thought it was very clever and gave us extra credit for it. |
We had a nice lunch (Spanish themed) in La Veranda and ate outside where it wasn't windy at all. The afternoon was lazy again before another bad performance at Trivia. Since we're almost at the end of this segment, it was another special farewell from the Captain and the Krew Kapers show. I'm always blown away by the energy and talent of the crew. As usual, the theatre was standing room only and the crowd was most enthusiastic, which is wonderful to see.
Tonight was special because Nino invited the 5 of us to dine with him. Since his promotion, we don't see him around so much, which is sad for us. Although, even though he has many more responsibilities now, he still watches everything. I saw him checking the bottled beer display at the pool grill today to make sure all the labels were showing. Dinner was a delight as we got to spend a couple of hours getting to know him better and sharing stories. We're so happy for him and I'm sure he will go even farther up the ladder with Regent.
